Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

So this book is about Alina Starkov I'm getting a TOG vibe here. Alina seems like she's about to turn into the hero of the story , she has to train in order to develop her powers which will be used against the shadow fold. the shadow fold is the villain of the story and it's responsible for the loss of many merchants, warriors and other people who cross the unsea and leave to never be seen again

I'm currently on chapter 16,I must say I'm enjoying Alina's journey from Os Alta all the way to the shadow fold, she just encountered one of the darkling's guards and she must run for her FREEDOM! I had to stop at  exactly this cene because I had to eat. i have a bad habit of skipping meals and so , I went to eat.   So far I Think the story has taken an interesting turn, I'm waiting to see how things turn out in the end, I'd rate this book 3 stars right now, because it's been an enjoyable read but I expected more.

SO This book is essentially about Alina Starkov I'm getting a ToG vibe here. Alina seems like she's about to turn into the hero of the story , she has to train in order to develop her powers which will be used against the shadow fold. the shadow fold is the villain of the story and it's responsible for the loss of many merchants, warriors and other people who cross the unsea and leave to never be seen again

Astrophysics for people in a hurry by Neil Degrasse Tyson

I love stars, and planets and physics and science and extraordinary stuff. I enjoy reading about these topics greatly and I am always eager to learn more and more. This book is so interesting, concise, amazing and funny. I can relate To Neil's sense of humor😂.

I appreciate all the extra stuff that is provided in this book. The topics are explained easily. I mean obviously the author works in a planetary and has dedicated a fair amount of time to astrophysics. when you're reading you get a good background story so there's some history, and It is well placed.
It's a surprisingly quick read its only about 200 pgs so I recommend it to anyone unless you hate reading about astrophysics in which case we can't talk 😞. 😊 just kidding.
I learned about stars, neutron stars , binary stars, how far away they are , I just remembered😂 I read this stuff but I don't like to write stuff to test my memory sometimes. Which continues to fail time and time again. I got a good explanation about the big bang. I love how extraordinary everything out there is, how conditions change , and factors such as temperature and pressure, basic stuff that you learn in high school, play a major role in outer space. I loved reading about the planets , especially Jupiter, I had seen a documentary that mentioned how it shields us from asteroids , without it earth wouldn't be able to sustain complex life. Some stuff mentioned here I have heard or read but this book put an emphasis on it and that's a good thing. 😀 I am a fan of celestial bodies, I love learning about them. I've also been really interested in light and electromagnetism lately. these are naturally ocurring phenomenons but I don't think they're nearly given as much attention as they should be. I really enjoyed the way this book presents these phenomenons as vital things to astronomy, and makes an emphasis on how Important spectroscopy is to astronomy. I learned about William Herschel, the astronomer who discovered infrared light and uranus. I love to read about particle physics as well and physics in general, I just love it. Overall I had a really good experience with this book I highly recommend it.

Flamecaster by Cinda Williams Chima

Resultado de imagen para flamecaster by cinda williams Flame Caster Is a tale about two youngsters following a plan to escape an oppressing ruler. I found myself laughing at some parts, It was a fun read, and Ash and Jenna's romance provided a little additional entertainment besides the actual plot which is mainly about trying to destroy the king. Montaigne was his name if I'm not wrong. I rated this book four stars , because I was surprised, I don't know why, I'm not quite sure why I decided to pick this one. I recently bought a bunch of books, but I've just been reading whatever I feel like reading I haven't really been following a pattern. Can we just talk about how Flame Caster is the empress's weapon and not Jenna. I honestly thought It'd be Jenna. I liked this though, It was one of the things I appreciated about the ending

On another note, looking at my shelves makes me really happy, so every time I finish a book , I just take a peek at my shelves and decide to read whichever book looks more appealing to me.

I started reading Shadowcaster already but I have many other books that I'm also currently reading so I haven't picked it back up since saturday. so far, It's told from lyss's perspective , and I'm  excited to see what happens next with Flame Caster and Jenna.
