Astrophysics for people in a hurry by Neil Degrasse Tyson

I love stars, and planets and physics and science and extraordinary stuff. I enjoy reading about these topics greatly and I am always eager to learn more and more. This book is so interesting, concise, amazing and funny. I can relate To Neil's sense of humor😂.

I appreciate all the extra stuff that is provided in this book. The topics are explained easily. I mean obviously the author works in a planetary and has dedicated a fair amount of time to astrophysics. when you're reading you get a good background story so there's some history, and It is well placed.
It's a surprisingly quick read its only about 200 pgs so I recommend it to anyone unless you hate reading about astrophysics in which case we can't talk 😞. 😊 just kidding.
I learned about stars, neutron stars , binary stars, how far away they are , I just remembered😂 I read this stuff but I don't like to write stuff to test my memory sometimes. Which continues to fail time and time again. I got a good explanation about the big bang. I love how extraordinary everything out there is, how conditions change , and factors such as temperature and pressure, basic stuff that you learn in high school, play a major role in outer space. I loved reading about the planets , especially Jupiter, I had seen a documentary that mentioned how it shields us from asteroids , without it earth wouldn't be able to sustain complex life. Some stuff mentioned here I have heard or read but this book put an emphasis on it and that's a good thing. 😀 I am a fan of celestial bodies, I love learning about them. I've also been really interested in light and electromagnetism lately. these are naturally ocurring phenomenons but I don't think they're nearly given as much attention as they should be. I really enjoyed the way this book presents these phenomenons as vital things to astronomy, and makes an emphasis on how Important spectroscopy is to astronomy. I learned about William Herschel, the astronomer who discovered infrared light and uranus. I love to read about particle physics as well and physics in general, I just love it. Overall I had a really good experience with this book I highly recommend it.
